1. Superior Thermal Management for High-Current  PV Modules 

  • The Challenge: When solar panels exceed 500W, the operating current rises significantly. In a traditional 1-part solar module junction box, the heat from the three bypass diodes accumulates in one small space, raising the solar module junction box temperature and risking thermal runaway.

A 3-part solar module junction box , like the TY001NEW, separates the diodes to the three busbar ends. This spreads the heat across the backsheet, keeping the  junction  temperature lower and ensuring the module survives hot-spot conditions safely.

Q2: What type of solar panel is the TY001NEW 30A version designed for?
A: The 30A version of the TY001NEW is specifically designed for the latest generation of high-efficiency panels. This includes:

  • Panels using 182mm (M10) or 210mm (G12) large silicon wafers.

  • Bifacial (double-glass) modules that require low-profile boxes to avoid rear-side shading.

    Choose TY001NEW if you want to eliminate the risk of bubbling and speed up production. Choose TY002 if your factory has a mature automatic potting line and you prefer to manage the glue costs yourself.

Q4: Can the TY001NEW be soldered using automated equipment?
A: Yes. The three independent housings are designed with a stable rib structure that works seamlessly with automated soldering, hot-air welding, or laser welding machines. The compact design ensures precise alignment with the busbars on your assembly line.

Q5: Does the pre-potted gel inside the TY001NEW affect the soldering temperature?
A: No. We use a high-temperature-resistant silicone gel. The curing process of the gel is complete before shipping. It can easily withstand the brief high temperatures of the soldering or welding process without melting, expanding, or releasing gas.
